Men of God’s Blind Spot

Young adult and older adults need to be disciplined about the following:

Responsibility

Salvation

Stewardship:

Marriage

Family Budgeting

Estate Planning

Legacy

Wellness

Patriotism

Age Equality

Elderhood & Protirement Understanding

Generation Cognizance to one's life

I have written three books on the above Chism’s Isms list. Sharing Lifetime Lessons (2020) is personal growth, self-help reference for young and older adults. Guide to Answers for the Next Generation (2019) is a youth-adult guide that helps equip, energize, and enable each generation insight as to appropriate answers. Fundamental Retirement/Protirement Planning (2015) is a classic primer for young adults as a self-study life retirement/protirement planning reference for achieving spiritual, physical, mental, and financial health.

These books are for youth and older adults and Parents, Grandparents, Open-minded Religious Youth Groups, Contemporary Congressional Ministry, Men and Legacy Groups for putting them into the hands of youth adults, and applying them to their own lives.

God has told us; we are to be good stewards of his gifts. With the pandemic COVID-19 Virus, stewardship family budgets and estate planning issues need to be at the forefront of current daily ministry for youth and older adults. Unfortunately, only 5% of American families have a Budget, and only 3% of American families have a Will.

Without going into the reasons for the blind spot, as men of God, we have failed our families and God. There is absolutely no reason for not having a family budget or a will.

A Family Budget is a discipline to live within a paycheck and pay cash for purchases, rather than a credit card. By doing without, now you have the resources to enjoy the future entirely.

A Will provides for beneficiaries, any disabled family member’s care, pre-paid funeral, and burial preferences, an executor to handle all estate matter and cost-effectively handle them with timely reporting to beneficiaries.

I am broken-hearted about helping save Men of God from their blind spot of Christian Stewardship responsibility. We are in a pandemic COVID-19 and the jaws of anarchy. If you were to die tonight, would you have prepared your loved ones a Family Budget and a Will to protect your family?

What can be done quickly to prepare Christian Men of God and their young adult responsibility? I have attempted by my books and articles to alert Men of God of their Stewardship obligation and the above list of condensed needs. Also, I proposed a future National Coalition of Ministries to Men (NCMM) Special Project.

The NCMM brings together many organizations and independent ministers who share a single objective: to connect the men who disciple men. NCMM doesn’t minister to men – instead, they bring together the individuals and organizations that do this vital work.

My suggestion for a future NCMM's Special Project was a Young and Older Adult New Practical Training book on what I would call the young and older adult essentials:

Responsibility

Salvation

Stewardship:

Marriage

Family Budget

Estate Planning

Legacy

Wellness

Patriotism

Age Equality

Elderhood & Protirement Understanding

Generation Cognizance to one's life

Each chapter would provide training in each of the young adult essentials and bring together both young and older adult understanding by compressing 30 years of mutual insight.

NCMM members could contribute to one or more of the chapter topics. The book could be a collection of speeches, articles, and chapters from member books.

New Young Adult Practical Training would be for Parents, Grandparents, Open-minded Religious Youth Groups, Contemporary Congressional Ministry, Men, and Legacy Groups to accomplish their God-Given Mentoring Role.

The title and young adult introductory chapters were only suggestions.

The book could be a new book for first-year members. Also, it could be a gift at an NCMM Conference devoted to New Young Adult Practical Training. Contributing members could be speakers and conduct chapter topic study groups.

God works in mysterious ways. Maybe you or your organization can shine the light on these blind spots. Parents, Grandparents, Open-minded Religious Youth Groups, Contemporary Congressional Ministry, Men, and Legacy Groups need to prioritize advanced Christian education for youth adults and apply them to their own lives.

Do what you can, where you are, with what you have, to shine the light on Family Budgets and Wills' need.
